WHO WE ARE

M. A. C. Hair & Spa is the brainchild of Michael Carr for his wife Mackenzie. His vision to design and set-up a full-service salon spa for her, that offers everything from barbering and hair care to nail care and massage therapy. Michael's experience began in the glass and mirror industry more than twenty-five years ago. His unique gift for creating something out of nothing is evident with his one-of-a kind salon interiors and mirrored works of art.

With more than twenty-five years experience in the Salon industry. Michael owned and operated "A Virtuous Woman" Salon in New Jersey with his wife Mackenzie. He has been the owner of three salons and has been building them more than twenty-five years. Two salons in the city of Philadelphia, Chez Cherie and MAC Hair Design. He began in New York City as a teenager and was the proprietor of two glass and mirror showrooms one in Pennsylvania the other in New Jersey.

Michael has done work for Creative Salons of Brooklyn and Mr. B's of New York. Michael has constructed and remodeled more than sixty beauty salons in New York, New Jersey, Virginia and Pennsylvania. He has done small salons, home-based salons, and huge ten to twelve station salons. He has done entire projects from start to finish and M. A. C. Hair & Spa is truly a masterpiece in design!
